Network infrastructure design and engineering
Most customer services begin with reviewing design and engineering requirements for teleport and remote infrastructure. USEI can design and engineer everything from a simple up/downlink on an existing USEI antenna to a complex mix of antenna hosting, international terrestrial transport, and new antenna design, construction and commissioning.
100-GB terrestrial routing
USEI’s secure, high-capacity domestic fiber network connects to POPs strategically located near our customers and with interconnection capability to international fiber providers for global reach.
Gateway and remote terminal engineering, installation and operation
For new earth stations, USEI provides a complete site design package from foundation to power and fiber, as well as antenna construction, systems integration, close-out documentation and acceptance testing. We design, engineer, program and project-manage gateways builds at our US-based teleports and remote sites worldwide.
Specification, procurement, regulatory and logistics
Supporting our design and engineering services, USEI provides technical specification for systems, procurement and testing, regulatory approvals and logistics for warehousing, shipping and delivery.
Lifecycle maintenance
USEI provides preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and management of spare inventory to meet customer needs for maximum uptime and performance.
Collocation and hosting
USEI hosting services at our US BGS and VVT teleports include Tier 1 support for all components and systems, spares inventory management, redundant power and fiber connectivity, and rack space in our secure, carrier and cloud-neutral teleports.
Teleport services
USEI provides flexible teleport services including up/downlinking, modem, encoding, interfacility links, routing and switching and fiber interconnects, all monitored 24x7x365 by automated systems and human technicians in our Network Operations Centers.
DiamondLinkTM Space-to-Ground Optical Communications
USEI is the first company in the industry to offer optical satellite communications as a commercial service from teleports in the US and around the world. Each system is capable of delivering 10 Gbps throughput, integrated into USEI’s satellite and terrestrial communications architecture. DiamondLink service takes advantage of the technology’s inherent low probability of intercept (LPI), low probability of detection (LPD), low probability of exploitation (LPE) and anti-jamming capabilities.
