U.S. Cyberdynamics Appoints Satellite Industry Veteran Jim Scott as Chief Strategy Officer
Brewster, July 21, 2026 – U.S. Cyberdynamics (USCI), an affiliate company of U.S. Electrodynamics (USEI), today announced the appointment of Jim Scott as Chief Strategy Officer, where he will lead the strategic expansion and development of the company’s Advanced Infrastructure Campus powered by the Columbia River (AICCR).
In his new role, Scott will help advance the vision of the AICCR, a next-generation integration complex designed to build on USEI’s more than 40 years of leadership in satellite ground infrastructure. The initiative expands USEI’s longstanding expertise into a future where communications, informatics, and specialized computing capabilities are seamlessly integrated to serve both commercial enterprises and national security missions.
The dual-use AICCR is being developed as a foundational integration environment supporting significant national security programs, including Golden Dome and the Space Data Network, as well as other mission-critical initiatives. For commercial and enterprise customers, the campus will provide advanced information fusion and augmented intelligence integration capabilities, strategically co-located with the world’s largest privately owned commercial teleport and supported by a global network of world-class teleport operations.

Jim Scott brings nearly 35 years of combined experience spanning U.S. military service, U.S. government civilian leadership, and the satellite and telecommunications industries. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of UltiSat, leading global communications solutions for government and commercial customers. Prior to UltiSat, Scott served as President of DRS Global Enterprise Solutions (DRS GES), a leading provider of satellite communications and network services that was incorporated into the SES enterprise through acquisition in 2022 and is now part of the combined SES-Intelsat organization.
Between his leadership roles at DRS GES and UltiSat, Jim dedicated his time to education and community development in Virginia, teaching STEM courses, sponsoring student organizations, and coaching student-athletes across multiple sports. His commitment to developing future leaders reflects a long-standing passion for service and mentorship. Jim is a veteran U.S. Army Signal Officer, and was recognized as a 2015 Wash100 Award recipient for his contributions to government and industry leadership.
